Why are there no high-speed, open-track sessions at the school?

Our Highway Safety School used to offer a half-day of driving exercises and a half-day of open-track driving.  However, at the request of our Highway Safety School students, we have eliminated the open-track portion of our school in favor of additional exercises.  Because we are able to run the track on which the exercises are set in both directions, many of the exercises become entirely different challenges when we switch directions after lunch.  Others are new exercises set up during the lunch break.  Because open-track driving is available through our regular drivers' school program, we believe that a program of continuous structured exercise is preferable for this school.
